1. Introduction
IDStream respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page explains our policy regarding copyright infringement claims and the procedure for filing a complaint.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
IDStream does NOT host, store, upload, or control any video files whatsoever.
All video content available on this website is embedded from or linked to third-party servers that are publicly available on the internet. We do not operate, control, or have any affiliation with these third-party servers. We simply act as a search engine that indexes and organizes content already available on the internet for easy access.
Just like Google, Yahoo, Bing, or any other search engine, IDStream does not host any video content on our servers. All content is provided by external third-party websites over which we have no control.
2. Source of Content
All video links and embeds available on IDStream are sourced from publicly available third-party video hosting services. We do not upload, store, or distribute any copyrighted material. If a video is removed from the original source, it will automatically become unavailable on our website.
3. Copyright Infringement Notification
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that any content available on IDStream infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific URL(s) on IDStream where the material is located.
- Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
4. Who Should You Contact
If you wish to have copyrighted content removed, you should first contact the third-party hosting service where the video is actually hosted. Removing the content from the original source will automatically remove it from IDStream.
We can only remove links to content, not the content itself.
Since we do not host any video files, we can only remove the link or embed pointing to the external source. The actual video file must be removed by the third-party hosting provider.
5. Filing a DMCA Complaint with Us
To file a DMCA complaint with IDStream, please send your notification to us through our Contact Page with the subject: "DMCA Notice".
Please include all required information listed in Section 3 above. Incomplete complaints will not be processed.
6. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, and telephone number
7. Response Time
We strive to respond to all valid DMCA complaints within 48-72 hours. During weekends and holidays, response times may be longer.
8. Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to our website for users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
